- It depends on the quality of your work. If you create killer, knock-down
- animations, 50k or more isn't out of the question. Usually, you'll be
- started at less than that (sometimes much less) with rapid raises based
- on the quality of your work, whether you're willing to work long hours or
- prefer "bankers' hours" etc. Really excellent animators are VERY hard to
- find...if you become excellent, you can make decent bucks.

- That's if you've found a good company. Unfortunately, there are probably
- just as many that will hire you at low rates, and milk you for all you're
- worth, give you no raises, and lay you off when the company folds. That's
- why it's always a good idea to research a company carefully before you go
- on full time with them.
